9600 /8600 brakes

I am looking for the kit to repair the master cylinder on front of the dash. I had a part number from NAPA, (misplaced) I think it was like $74.00 or something like that . does anyone have the info I need to get it?? thanks in advance

Been there, made that mistake, the Napa kit is made to use brake fluid and these tractor use a light hydraulic oil. The cylinder will work great after you rebuild it, for about 48 hours then the seals swell and it's all over. I found the kit online for about 190 I think it was and it worked great. Was still working perfect when I sold the tractor last year

The NAPA number is M34404 for the complete master cylinder, BUT will have to be rebuilt with the correct kit. The NAPA MC as is does not have internal components to work with the mineral oil brake fluid. It helped me because my MC was beyond rebuilding. If your MC housing is good, the NAPA part will not help you.
