Hot Power Steering Lines 801

I just finished a restoration on 821 Powermaster. The powersteering works great but has a huming coming from where the powersteering lines go into the valve body (all springs replaced in valve body), also both lines warm up quickly and are too hot to touch when at operating temperature, lines to cylinders are also hot. Powersteering seems to be working correctly just concerned that damage may occur in the future. Thanks for any help.

I noticed that the ps cylinders on my 850 were warm after about an hour of use, but not too hot to touch. I do not know if this is normal either, but like yours they seem to work just fine. If they are too hot to touch, I would suspect, but do not know, that there might be an issue. Is the correct oil in the system? Is the oil foaming?
