At work we have an alamo 15' batwing we converted to 10' for mowing some swales.

the cv joint at the pto yoke where it hits the tractors pto stub went out.

anyone found an affordable source for parts? this uses those 6 pt star spline shafts.

thanks

Check the A&I web site. Same experience this summer with the baler. Front CVS joint crapped out.Started looking for parts.Every one said can get them tomorrow. Called Vermeer dealer and inquired about the front half of the Vermeer shaft answer was do not have one price $1150. He said Come on down and I will sell you the complete shaft for $650. Was a Wealser went and got it and got back to baling. This was an A&I shaft.

I tried to buy half a PTO shaft last year from my local dealer. He could make one...for $300 plus more for the plastic guard. I bought a complete shaft from AgriSupply for less than $100 with the guard already on it. www.agrisupply.com

It was probably made by Weasler.... Around here anyone that calls themselves a dealer has a rack of shaft parts supplied by Weasler and a book listing everything (that's not on the shelf). I've found that they can usually get most stuff for about half the price of OEM mainlines. Weasler is usually about half the quality too but you already found that out since that's probably what you have. A&I may also list what you need but don't bet on it.
