Need Help to identify Ford Tractor

Recently purchased a Ford tractor, the hood decal shows it to be a 4000. It is a 3 cylinder diesel. But the serial numbers stamped on the boss behind the starter do not seem to match anything I can find. This is what is stamped on the boss:
7C22
A150-487

Any help identifying this would be greatly appreciated. I want to get some parts and manuals for it.

7C22 looks to be a date code, but it may be for the trans or the tractor. They did not always put the final letter indicating the shift on the early European tractors. So 7C22 would be March 22, 1967, which should be either the date that the transmission was assembled, or the date that the tractor was assembled. If it was the date for the transmission then the tractor was most likely assembled a few weeks to a few months later, which would still make it a 1967 tractor.

A150-487 looks like a fairly early serial number from the Antwerp Belgium assembly plant, so that pretty much agrees with the date code above. Sometimes, especially with the earlier ones in the European plants, they put some of the numbers on the other side. Take a look on the same flat spot on the left side to see if there's any numbers there. Also, look farther up on the flat spot by the starter, up in the rough part, as sometimes one of the numbers is hidden up there.

Also look on the under side of the right hand hood panel, above the battery, to see if there might be a foil sticker there, and if so, post the numbers from the sticker.

Also, post us a few pics.

This shows us hub, brake and axle and sheet metal clues that can help us help you with more info.

I did find additional numbers on the boss on the left hand side of the bell housing. I have attached some photos and will gladly take more if it will help. We currently have the tractor split replacing the clutch.

7C20 looks like another date code, March 20, 1967. That would make it a trnsmission made on March 20 on a tractor that was assembled on March 22, which is not unheard of but usually there was a little more time between the two.

For the model number I would look back on the right side up in the rough part of the casting. If you can't find the model number there, then post some pictures of the tractor... front view, both the left and right sides and from the rear, and we should be able to come close to a specific model for you.
