Ive got a ford 555 backhoe which has a broken coupler plate between the flywheel and torque converter.
I split the backhoe and am ready to put it back together but the manual says to use an alignment tool to bolt up the coupler/flex plate to the torque converter instead of just aligning it with the bolts.
Anyways is this really necessary? (i think it is) Or is there some sort of trick to this?
I cant find the tool for sale anywhere.
Does anyone know where i could find it? Torque converter alignment tool No. 11890
