Oil Pressure Gauge Fitting

So, I'm swapping out the non tractor gauges with tractor gauges that are graduated more towards our use. A water temp gauge that doesn't come off the peg until 160+ degrees and redlines at 250+ degrees is pretty hard to use. Likewise a 100psi oil pressure gauge instead of the nice clean symmetrical scale of an 80psi gauge. So, I ordered the oil pressure gauge from yesterdays Tractors and look what I have. I expected to simply screw oil the compression fitting from the old gauge and right back on the new one. The new gauge has a type of connection I've never seen before. What sort of a fitting am I missing?

you need the adapter that goes from compression to whatever thread is on the back of the gauge (guessing maybe NPT?)

that is what would have been on the tractor originally
