1 arm loader mounting bracket bolts

Well I dont get on here very often but I read the forum a lot, somtimes for information sometimes for humor!!!!! LOL I want to give Gery Zelke from the great state of Mich. great kodos for my one arm loader.( may I recommend Gary if you need anything Ford!!!). Painted ready to mount on my 1964 4000.I have all the right brackets for my tractor but I need to know if I need to use grade 8 bolts or are standard grade ok?? Also do I need to safety wire those bolts as shown in the book or are lock washers ok instead? I think I'll vote lock washers. Thirdly I am using stainless steel 3/8 hardware coming off the valve assy do I need to use 304,or higher grade stainless hyd hardware. Fourthly anybody got a jack stand for this loader I missed one on ebay by minutes Crap!!! thank Rick Sundblad Easley Sc an OLD IOWA Farm boy reloacated out of the snow belt LOL

I am like you, read the forum alot, but don't post much. I would use Grade 8 bolts to mount the loader. Lock washers should work also. I am in Michigan, whereabouts in MI is Gary Zelke and does he have a business name to look up if wanting to contact him? Thanks, Pat

gary is in sturgus/nottawa mi area ph:269/506/6936 25734 hwy.m86 zip 49075 or po box g nottawa mi thanks Rick Sundblad

many of the fasteners ont he tractor are grade 5.. considering you are going into cast iron.. 5+ should be plenty fine. you are going to damage the casting with the bolt not the bolt with the casting once you get 5+

I would NOT use GR2.. unless you want built in shear protection on loader over-loading. ;)
