Where can I get ....

I am trying to mount different tires on my Jube. The plastic "nuts" that hold the valve stem in the hole on the rim are both broken, thanks to being so brittle they broke at first touch. The local parts house has them in their catalogue, but when they tried to order them they were marked "no longer available." I went to a shop that repairs tractor tires & was told they could not get them any more either!
I finally found one but need another! I would prefer brass but at this point I am not too picky!!
Any idea where I might find them? (It might help if I knew what to call them!)
Thanks!!

Check with a tractor dealer. If you find one that has been around for years good chance they have some laying around in there shop. I know I can go out to my shop and probably grab 2 or 3 of them if not more but I do not throw much away

I've never found any use for them other than holding the tube
in place while you're working the tire on. After you fill it you
could move the one you have to the other tube.
Is there another use for them?
I can think of flat tire scenarios, but the plastic is usually so
brittle by then that I doubt it would do any good anyway.

I had to replace some tube valve stems recently and the new "valve stem tube patch" came with the plastic nuts. Bought them from the local tire place.
