Bush hogging last week, blew the head gasket on the 841. Replaced over the weekend back bush hogging this morning. Heavy weeds and briars along a fence row. Stopped to back into a corner not realizing that I had run over and laid down a tee post. When I backed up the tee post went through the oil pan, journal on the crankshaft caught it and busted a hole in the side of the block that you can stick your fist through. Will tear it down later in the week to check internal damage. Going to need another block at the very least. Anyone in the west TN area got one or even a rebuildible engine? Driving a reasonable distance to get one is not a problem. Email is open.

So did you break something in your engine (rod) or did the tee post make the hole? If you just have a hole
have it welded up. Not pretty, but least cost if nothing else is bent or broke.

Did you miss the part where I said the tee post came through the oil pan and then through the block and I would tear it down later in the week to check for internal damage. Also the block is broken where the oil pressure sensing line attaches, the brass fitting and line are flapping in the breeze with part of the block including the oil passage hanging on it. Trust me this block is toast..

I saw that one, have called them a half dozen times, only get voice mail, left message but no return call yet.
