Got Lucky 1965 5000

Well I finally got lucky. Been having power steering problems with my early 5000. Put a new pump on and it worked good for half a day then started leaking out the cylinder faster than I could pour it in. Checked with a mirror best I could (not easy to get to ya know) and ordered a seal kit. Got it apart and went to remove the cylinder and noticed the bottom hose was just loose. (simple never is my luck) Tightened it up and away we went. Needed to flush the radiator and replace the fluid anyway............

Was about to tear my arm off baling hay with out the power steering.

Hope others can fix other problems with a turn of a wrench, I'm trying to pass it on while I got it!!

Our airport uses a 65 5000 to mow with and I had the PS apart 3 times, fixing various ailments, until I got it working 100%.
