841 Seat question

Hello Everyone,
New to the forum, I am working on a Ford 841, yes they painted it blue, but it will go back original color, which I see underneath, the question I have is the seat pan, it is rusted out and I want to replace it, I looked on the parts page and even called the nice lady, but I don't know which pan to get. Here is one of the back and
the front bracket, the seat tilts forward and back. Maybe an aftermarket part?

That doesn't look like any of the original seats that were available for that model tractor.

If you're looking for originality, the standard seat was a metal pan with no padding with a single curved piece of spring steel as the suspension:

Then there was the rest-o-ride seat:

If you are just looking for something that works and is comfortable, your local Tractor Supply carries several generic seats that will fit the bill.
 
As dmbinva says, that seat is from a 1965 and newer tractor.
The seat cusion/bucket is available aftermarket.
If you end up replacing yours I would be interested in buying the suspension part of it.

Not even close to what it should have as the others have told you. Aftermarket seat or form a much newer tractor
 

Thanks everyone! It was driving me crazy trying to figure out a replacement pan. Ultradog I will let you know if If I replace it.

Here is a photo of a rest-O-ride seat om my 871. Your tractor might have come with the same seat, Although you could
replace with standard spring/pan seat.
