OT: Caution

Anybody need a spinner/suicide knob? I'm taking mine off the 841. Bushhogging tall weeds today, front wheel caught a hidden rut, spun the steering wheel knob caught the back of my hand with a hard lick. Skinned it pretty good and I'm sure it will be mighty sore come morning. Be careful.

I have steering wheel knobs on all of my tractors PS or otherwise.

Yes, I've been cracked once or twice over the decades but consider the convenience well worth the price.

I've been whacked by the steering wheel spokes on ones not equipped with knobs. I'd just as soon have one as not, depending on the steering column angle. A nearly vertical column like Fords usually have is the best, also takes less effort either way. A horizontal column makes the knobs useless.
