Ford 5610 drawbar/hitch question

Am looking at a Ford 5610, and have never seen this style hitch.
What's with the extra hitch (?) between the PTO and drawbar?
Also is the cylinder for the 3-point an option?

Just curious what I'm getting into before looking closer.

Looks like the style of trailer hitch used
in France. Used for trailers that place a
larger tounge load on the tractor, the
closeness of the hitch pin means less
lifting of the front axle.

Hmm. Chance this is an "import tractor", or were these seen around the US new and we just didn't use the French hitch?

Yea, that European hitch dal.

My Fords have a big spring where that extra cyclinder is, it's used for the draft control. I wonder if that is a fancy version of a spring?
