Ford NAA Golden Jubilee - Clutch Replacement

I see clutch kits on eBay for half the price as here. Advice? Anyone purchase the eBay kit care to summarize your experience?

I also see a 9 inch and 10 inch kit listed. Can someone explain which one I should be looking at?

Thanks for the response, dmbinva. I was a bit skeptical about the clutch kits on ebay. Unless someone else replies with negative feedback, I think I'll order one today. I'll also be ordering a replacement transmission inlet seal too. Curious if the rear main seal is accessible while split? If it can be replaced too, I might as well order a new one for preventative measures, huh?

The rear main seals are tough to replace with crank installed. If it's not leaking more than a few drops a day, leave it be. There is a wealth of information on this forum to explain in detail the rear seal installation is you want to go ahead with it while you have it split. Just search Ford tractor rear main seal leak. As for the clutch. Easy to change and yours should be a nine inch but you can measure after you split.

Thanks! The rear main isn't really leaking that bad at all. I just figured it might be worth questioning while it was split. Probably best to leave it be ... (;

Judging by your above post, "Bob In Tennessee", the NAA was originally manufactured with either size clutch installed? Is it also safe to assume that the 10" clutch kit was a "heavier duty" add-on?

I believe that is correct. I have a 801 that uses a 10" clutch and I am currently dealing with a badly leaking rear seal. There is a chance you have a 10" clutch disc and measuring is the only way to know for sure.
