Anyone know the torque value for the cylinder head bolts. Also after replacing the head gasket, do they need to be re-torqued after ? number of hours?

It's been 7 hours since you posted but no replies.
Methinks no one knows what a 2715e engine is.
I don't.
Can you describe it - tell us what application it's in, number of cylinders, gas, diesel, etc?
Where did you get that number from?
The fellows here are Very Good with Ford Tractor engines of all types but that number is not ringing any bells.

Sorry it is a 6 cylinder Diesel engine in a 70's vintage Ford 642 combine. This same engine is also common in some marine applications.

I knew what a 2715e was. I have the same engine in my New Holland 1400 combine. Unfortunately, I don't have
the information you need. Maybe check the combine forum (on this site). Haley checks in every now and then. ...
he has several 642's.

Ok early type head bolts are 110 - 115 lb/ft. Late type with integral washer are 130 - 135. Re
torque after 15 hours and then re check at 400 hours.
