I have a '62 641 with a Ford FEL. When I got it it had a Prince PTO pump on it for the loader but as you can imagine, very difficult to use
because when you push in the clutch, no hydraulic pressure. I since changed it back to a used front pump off the crank and it worked ok. This
past winter I stripped the splines on the pump shaft and replaced them with ones I got from this site. They worked fine. I had a long time leak
from the pump which I repaired when I had the pump apart. It is a gear pump, a Hydreco, I believe the brand is. I no longer have the lift power
that I used to have and certainly less than what I had with the PTO pump. What would be my next step to test this pump? I am assuming that
the pump is worn. It was used when I got it (traded the PTO pump for it with someone from this forum). Where would I find a pump like this?
Would there be one with more oomph than what I have? I am a novice when it comes to hydraulics, but am willing to find out how to diagnose
it. I included some photos. The model number on the loader is 19-201.
