Ford 641 clutch

We just got a new clutch, pressure plate, pilot bearing, and throw out bearing in the mail from yesterday's tractors for my ford 641. Is there some kind of step by step on putting this stuff on? I don't have any expierence with this stuff. I already have the tractor split. Boy was that fun! Haha

Looking for some kind of guide for installing and adjusting this stuff the right way.

Be sure the disc is turned the correct way! Won't work atherwise.

You can buy a clutch line up tool at most parts places made of plastic and cheap. You got to have one to align the disc with the pilot bearing.

Look at the clutch disk you got and see if it says on one side of it flywheel side. If it does not make sure you look close at the old disk because it only fits one way and if you put it in wrong you will be splitting it a 2nd time. The FO-20 manual should also help yo ua lot

Thanks guys. I dont have that manual and this isn't my tractor so I hope I don't have to ever split a ford again. Haha. It is a lot more work than the Farmall I have. The clutch disk orientation is one of the things I was questioning. If it's not marked what is the best way to tell? By the springs?

(quoted from post at 07:33:46 07/25/15) The best way to tell is to note how the old one sat in it

True. But, My uncle removed the old clutch when he split the tractor and doesn't remember
