I have a 641 ford Work master, I have changed the engine oil, transmission oil, hydryloc oil and rear end, new carb, points and condenser. it still wont start, I also and replaced the spark plugs and one spark plug wire and it wont start. I ran it for an hour and when I tried to engage the PTO it stalled and haven't started it since. I had the clutch pushed in and didn't know I couldn't start the PTO with the clutch in, and it hasn't started yet. Please help, Steven

PTO is a separate issue. you've got to put it in gear with the clutch disengaged (pushed in). When you engage the clutch (take your foot off the pedal) the PTO should spin and drive a powered implement provided it's shifted in with lever on left side below seat.

As to no start, a gasoline engine needs 4 things to run, to wit:

1. Spark

2. Fuel

3. Air

4. Compression

You'll need to do some diagnostics to find out which one or ones it's lacking. I've put them in the order one should check first to last.

Welcome to the forum! Lots of good stuff here.

Always trouble shoot then parts not parts then trouble shoot because you can add to the problem.
#1 check that you have a good blue/white spark that jumps a 1/4 inch gap or more form the coil wire and all 4 plug wires. If you have that spark then move on the fuel
#2 fuel pull the carb drain plug out of the bottom of the carb and make sure you have a good steady flow of gas for a few minutes. Catch the gas to check for water/dirt etc.
