1956 ford mod.800- Hydraulics was working fine last fall. Went to hook up bush hog and touch control lever wont even budge. Removed lift cover, thinking it was piston related ( Its not ) Seems to be linkage, Can't understand .Looking in lift cover, every thing seems to be moving when I attempt to move lever HELP !!Jack.

ard to follow you. You say TC lever won't move & then say, 'everything seems to be moving when I attempt to move TC lever". The two statements seem to contradict one another???

What I should have said was TC moves a few inches, moving spring inside to contact control valve lever. which stops it ( TC) lever from moving any further. All linkage doesn't seem to be binding. thanks Jack

till doesn't make sense to me, because raising the TC lever should move the control arm, NOT the springs, and it should move the control arm AWAY from the springs, not toward them.
