Got a tractor related question for you knowledgable folks here.
Been using a friends Ford compact 2110 (think it is around a 1983 model) diesel. I has a FEL and had a backhoe attachment on it.
We took off the backhoe and put the 3 point arms back on. With the FEL down on the ground and the 3 point raised the arms lower pretty quickly even with no attachment on it after shutting the tractor off. When using the bush hog we are having to keep the loader set fairly low to keep the 3 point from bouncing up and down with the hog raised. The 3 point was not used for years due to the backhoe being on it.
I was thinking this might be a seal on the 3 point lift cyl leaking. Am thinking this as when the 3 point is raised under a load and you move the FEL to the float position the FEL arms raise.
Your thoughts?
BJ
