1964 Ford 2000 leaking

There's a plug on the left side of the trans housing next to the clutch pedal. It's about 1/2" and takes a flat screw driver to remove. Under it is a spring and a ball.

What is that for? and where do I get a new seal for it?

it's a shifter detent.

I'm guessing you don't have a parts manual or service manual, so I went to the NH parts site to look this up for you.

I just generically looked up a 640, but should be the same. the differenc ein other models will be plungers instead of balls.. like my *5* have.

E5NN7Z307AA is the 'gasket' or 'seat' depending on where you read the parts info.
