Introduction and a ?

Hi all, longe time listener first time caller. I bought a 6600 with factory cab the other day and is my first experience with this series of tractor with a cab. I've been noticing it runs a touch on the warm side and its a bear trying to get to the radiator to blow it out with the shroud on the back side and the condenser (which does not swing out) on the front. Aside from removing the condenser and nose cone is there a good way that you fellas access the radiator to blow it out?

I was afraid of that, I have it apart now to replace the hyd lines to the cooler and did just as you described, but I'm afraid this is going to be an ongoing problem for me as I bought this tractor to shred and use in the hay field. Suppose il look into possibly making the condenser hinged to swing out.....has anyone attempted this?

The lines come from one side to allow you to slide it over towards the lines.. unless someone has changed it. should move enough to allow access to most. Be careful to not bend the radiator fins when cleaning or you will have more problems so keep the pressure low on the water or air that you are using. I find it takes several passes to slowly clean out years of mud and chaff. Each time more will come out.
