I have a 1979 Ford 5600 with a broken Dual Power Shift Lever. Broke off long ago. Been using a vise grips on it to shift it. Anyone know where to get one, or an alternative that looks better than a vise grips?

any suggestions are appreciated.

Thank you

1 HANDLE Dual Power Control, 5100, 7100, Start Year: 01-NOV-74 D3NN7R228A18B $101.59 3-7 business days 1

This listing came from Messicks, but it should be available at any New Holland dealership.

A question though, are you talking about the Dual Power handle for sure or might you be wanting the range shift lever?

There were also some serial number breaks on the part above.

Prolly can make one pretty easy! Just need a short piece of bushing stock, or similar, that will fit the shaft. Then drill for a roll pin and weld a quarter x half piece of flat, about 4 inches long, to it! Dress up with grinder to suit.
