model 801 hyd

Sorry we do not read minds so hard to help you help your self with out a lot more info as to what is is or is not doing etc. Also will help your self if you get an I-T FO20 manual that way you have pictures and info on hand

sorry about that I recently purchased this tractor and the 3 point hitch would not move at all so I rebuilt the pump because oil flow was very low but to no avail so I removed the lift cover and put new O-rings and also redone the lift piston and still nothing then I put new O-ring on the unloader valve and I still have no movement at all I pulled the safety valve apart and I don't see anything wrong there either if I remove the pipe plug from the 3x5 plate and put air to it the lift works so I'm confused on the oil route at the lift cover while I had the cover off I started the tractor and had oil coming out of the front hole but doesn't seem to be getting thru to the lift cylinder

air to the cyl makes it work, and tractor running is oil out the casting?

have you removed the plug under the seat and cranked over to see if there is oil at the top cover?

yes I removed the plug on top of the 3x5 plate and there is no oil there but when I had the lift cover removed I did have oil coming out of the front hole in the casting also I put the air in where the pipe plug come out of and the lift went up

(quoted from post at 12:03:19 06/30/15) i'd pull that plate!

I did pull the plate and I have oil coming thru the plate and I cleaned out the top to make sure there is no blockage

yes no oil from the pipe plug under the seat but when I pulled the plate I had oil coming from the front hole in the casting

That block under the seat is in the oil oath, you need to find where between the center housing and cover it is being lost

I removed the pto cover and looked in there I seen no oil leaking anywhere that's why im confused the oil is coming thru the casting to the plate but I lose it from there

hat do you call the "front hole in the casting"?

#7 I have oil coming thru there and when I pulled the plug #2 nothing there when I put air to #2 the lift went up

The plug is directly connected to #2, so the thing between #7 & #2 is the check valve. Therefore it appears that you need to investigate the check valve. Of course, the check valve could be OK, but you are simply not generating enough pressure to open it (~115PSI).

(quoted from post at 18:11:33 06/30/15)
Is the check valve the pipe plug that is in the front of the lift cover
t is behind that plug. A spring, spring guide & ball.

(quoted from post at 15:20:12 06/30/15) Thanks ill try that and let you know
I removed the front pieces but have not got the rest out however I can stick a probe thru the middle and move the back piece

hat is what the long bolt pipe nipple are all about....a "puller" of sorts. Probably no need to remove that.....it is the backpressure valve.

the front seems to be fine spring is not broken and moves fairly easy I have not tried to blow air thru the hole in the lift cover I assume you mean the one that I have oil too correct

(quoted from post at 11:34:26 07/01/15) what kind of pressure should I have at the casting below the lift cover
lease explain the pressure measurement point to which you are referring. ??

(quoted from post at 11:54:48 07/01/15) #7 in the casting
ou are not telling me where you are making gauge connection. If you mean somehow connect to tube comming up from bottom of hyd cavity to top cover, then the pressure should be that of pump overpressure relief valve (2000PSI), but if you mean with all systems connected and somehow access #7, then pressure will be backpressure (~40PSI) at all times other than during lifting. During lifting the pressure will depend on weight of load being lifted. Chain the lift arms down & try to lift & you should see the 2000PSI.

no I meant with the cover off so it should be 2000 and I don't think I have that kind of pressure I rebuilt the pump and replaced the wobble shaft at the same time. I will check the pump pressure will have to find a gauge for it and get back then is there anything I could of missed in the pump?

pistons & valves?

I checked the pressure with a gauge at the top cover and was maybe 150 so I guess I go back into the pump are the pistons available for my pump could I have put something together wrong in the pump to cause it not to have the right pressure
