I have a 1962 ford 901 4 speed and I was wondering if new holland or some other company sells the correct red and grey paint in a spray can for this tractor if so does any one have the part number. thanks in advance Josh

It seems rare to me to see one the right shade of gray. They are usually the whiter gray of '64 on or the darker gray of the 48-57.

Hi Josh. Welcome to the board. Here's what I used on my '62 4000 which is nearly identical to your tractor. As usual, I bought twice as much needed and have these left over. Let me know if your interested. We could work something out. Tom [email protected]

Its close and 'ok' paint. By the Tim you buy enough spray bombs to prime and paint a tractor though, you can buy a spraygun and a couple gallons paint and a small compressor, hose. Does a better longer lasting job too.

Hvlp gun will run on a 90$ pancake compressor with a pressure regulator, gun cost about 30$.

Its about break even on the first paint job between primer and paint in cans vs spraygun.

Do not know about spraying a complete tractor with spray bombs.
But I have used that valspar brand paint before and it worked very well,
Used it for some minor touch up an I painted a couple of small implements.
Good color match.

(quoted from post at 15:49:37 06/27/15) My 1960 901 is the Orange Red Walts Tractor has it, I think Dennis Carpenter has it too.

Orange red is not hard to find, but I don't think that the right gray is available unless you get it custom mixed.
