Need to change front axle pivot bushing. Two questions. Can you do it without taking off the loader? #2, should I order a new pin or is the pin usually OK?
Thanks for your help. It is slowly coming around. Runs great, couple small hydraulic leaks, PTO clutch stuck, spindle and pivot bushings left to take care of. 200 miles away so only have vacation to work on it or use it to clear lake lot .

You shouldn't need to remove the loader but if it has a front mounted pump driven with a stinger shaft to the engine crank... you will need to remove that. I would replace the pin if it is at all within your budget. The pin will be worn but sometimes you can cheat a bit and rotate it 180 deg from where it presently sits...

I haven't done one in a 3600, but in the N series and Jubilees
that I have done the pin has always been worn. Some badly.
I replaced them so I didn't have to do it twice.
I've got one more to do myself someday! LOL

Figured i would have to do the pin too. Thought I would check. Pump shaft bolted or lovejoy? Book is 200 miles away too!

The shaft should be a simple spline... pull the pump off and the shaft should slide out. Ofcourse that depends on exactly how it was 'engineered' in the first place........
