Looks like my new (old) tractor needs a new leveling box/arm. Can anyone tell me how to go about changing this? Is there a tool for driving the pins out that connect it to the lift
arms? Don't want to get in there with a hammer and break anything.

Yep.. the tool to drive them pins out is called a hammer and punch or drift.

Oil them up good with some penetrant.

If they don't move on a hit, use an air hammer with a flat or blunt end to buzz on them. if you can get them moving and turn them and oil more, you will get them. I almost never have to use heat to get them out.

what a job! I fought with this most of the day and still did not get that pin out. Had it about half way out, but it will not move beyond that. Going to get a new pin and try cutting it our with an angle grinder. Air hammer would be great, but it won't fit in the small space unless I remove the tire and fender. May try a small gear puller to push it out.

Bought a small air hammer and a small gear puller. Could not get either one to fit in the space to push the pin out. ended up using the 4.5 inch angle grinder and thin metal cutting wheel. Cut through the pin and cast yoke that is part of the leveling box . After putting through, the parts of the pin just pushed out of the lift arm. New part installed and working fine now.
