Just acquired a ford 741-5. Was wondering how many were made? Can't find much info about it. Any info is much appreciated.

No records available that anyone on this board is aware of as to how many of any particular model were made. They made all models on the same assembly line and each tractor got the next sequential serial number no matter what model it was. The "-5" was the factory wide front end, which wasn't as near as rare as the "-4" which was the high clearance wide front end, which lots of folks refer to as the high crop.

As Sean said I don't believe there was a separate model number breakdown. probably not rare but probably not all
that many made as the 951's and 961's where the more popular models

There is lots and lots of information on them. The only thing that you can't find out is how many were made and maybe not the original owner.
