Ford 5000 hydraulic issues

My son was using the 5000 grading the hay storage area while I was hauling in round bales,
said the loader and grader blade were acting up.

Got it up to the shop, return line for the loader
( got one of those blocks under the remote to supply hydraulic to the loader joystick) seemed to have back pressure on it, and grader blade (3 point) will not lower. 3 point control lever seems stiff.

Seems like the return for all the hydraulics is blocked...looked at a diagram, is the unloader valve the last thing in the circuit?
Played with the flow control, no help/

Any thoughts?

Thanks

Fred

Make sure both of the hydraulic levers are in center position and asc valve is not pulled. This will fix it.

Don't see a return line from the loader in your picture. All I see is pressure out and pressure in, no sump return? If all you have is two hoses to your loader valve, no wonder the loader and three point don't agree. You need a third hose.

When you say hydraulic levers, do you mean the remotes?

Maybe you're onto the problem, the top lever feels wrong....its not returning to center on its own, I'm having to
put it there.

Why would that prevent the 3 point from lowering? I thought that was downstream from the remotes...maybe was
looking at the diagram wrong.

I know I'd rather pull the remote than the top cover.

yes.. if the hydraulic lever does not return, the hydraulic path is effectively blocked. Especially if the hydraulic port is open... loop a line on it to the return side or repair the spool.

In pic, the acs knob looks like its pushed in so it might be ok.

A normal open center loader valve only has two ports besides the ones going to the cylinders, one for pressure in and one for return. Only way to have a third line would be if it also had a power beyond port. Mine works fine just like in that picture, but I have no remotes, just the aftermarket adapter plate under the factory blocking plate.
