Aftermarket air filter for early 4000?

I have an early Ford 4000 (4cyl). The old oil bath
filter canister is pretty banged up (but works),
was wondering if there was a more efficient
aftermarket option before I replaced the old one?
Was thinking a K&N setup would be
nice(probably dreaming), my search hasn't
turned anything up. I even like the old cyclone
setups, at least you can check oil level at a
glance. Thanks for your input

I have have had a K&N on one of my four cylinders for years. You need to get the oil that goes with them and wash them at an adequate interval.

(quoted from post at 16:02:29 05/26/15) Thanks showcrop, did you notice any
performance difference? I'll have to check the
K&N website a little closer.

Most of the guys that I compete against think that she runs pretty good. I keep the original filter there because I like the looks of it better. The K&N tucks up under the hood.

Thanks for the tip Miner, can appreciate the stock look of an antique machine but it doesn't bother me to change something as long as
its more convenient or better performance.
