Got a manifold from another engine swapped over, list the ear off the back exhaust, letting the gasket blow out, also broke the ear on the elbow.

All studs came out ok, replaced with slightly longer and extra neverseize :)

LOL I use to say that all the time when I was younger. I couldn't afford new vehicles and couldn't afford new parts to fix the old ones. I complained a lot about fixing junk with junk but I always seemed to find a way to keep them going.

I can get a new one from amazon for 83$, but you know how it goes, when you need it now, you do what you got to do :)

good job.
ahh...exhaust stuff....hate it...I stopped doing [i:3f52936a75]any[/i:3f52936a75] automotive exhaust work years ago..
Tractors...well we do what we gotta...

I fix junk with junk
I want that on a T-shirt!

Reminds me of a recent dealing with a fellow tractor trader.
We were swapping stories of selling ancient, good running, working tractors to 'modern' people.
Who would promptly complain about every little thing on
the tractor 'we' sold them....sigh..Kubota dealer is thataway.
Getting to our deal, comparing tractors we were trading, we both laughed and said..They are ALL junk..wanna trade my junk for your junk? deal :D

So my wife asked me when she walked out, if I could weld it up. I u stammered and said that id rather not! Not only is #4 ear broke, but after blowing out the gasket and about thirteen hours hard work last week, it eroded the ear side of the manifold :). Head survived thankfully

I know it's tic cause it is a great feeling to go through your (used) parts and find what you need. I save everything especially bolts and sheet metal no matter how bad it is. You never know what part or section of a piece you might need. I hate an exhaust leak.
