ford 600 vs 601 wiring

Can anyone on here tell me if there is any difference in the wiring on the 00's vs the 01's? I found a nice wiring diagram for a 600 and wonder if I could use it on my 601 workmaster. Just looking at it, it looks the same.

The 601 has a charging red lite. The 600 has a ammeter. The 601 has a fuel gauge while the 600 does not. The 601 need the ignition switch on for the starter to engage were as the 600 will engage the started even with the switch off. Sooooo, they are not the same, but with a little ingenuity could probably be made to work.

Thanks for posting the link JMOR
I have never seen a diagram for a x01 gas tractor in the manuals so I took the diagram for the x01 diesel tractor and modified it to work on the gas tractor.

ood job in filling a need. Always been a little amazed that after all these years we never have seen a Ford diagram from a manual or some book on X01.
