Ford Jubilee Value

Looking at a Ford Golden Jubilee that has been professionally restored and in immaculate shape. Has new tires and runs great. Paint job is expo quality. Wondering roughly what something like that is worth? Will try to post some pictures of it later today. Thanks.

Cost or worth?

Cost? You could easily sink 6-8000$ in an every bolt turned, all worn parts replaced, with new tires and car paint job.

Worth?

Most good running small fords, as workers, can be worth up to 3500$, as workers..

There's one been advertised for a long time in our regional farm paper completely restored for $9000. Sorry to say just like old cars, you can't get back what you put into them. I think people watch the Barrett-Jackson auction and think that they can get that kind of money everywhere, anyday.

Ya thats the problem. Guy has over $4k in paint job alone. Pretty sure tractor isn't worth what he has in it. Be hard to find one any nicer though to.

a good running 861 with power steering will bring $4000 to $5000 or so and it is worth 2 times what a 53-54 jubilee is in my opinion

Its a 1953 Golden Jubilee

Personally I would skip a NAA and move up... They hold no real value to me they have to many issues a 8N had...

He threw dead money at dead money he must have enjoyed it and that's about what he will get out of it... Maybe in 2053 they will regain popularity..

It is truly a great job, but lack of research keeps it from being high value. The red lug nuts always bug me, and the rims painted gray instead of silver. The biggest negative is that the gray is a real nice XX1 gray instead of the correct 8N-NAA-XX0 gray. So it is a really great looking $4000 tractor but no more.

agreed. they share the old rear hub design.. and the hyds are just red headed step child.

As another poster said. I'd take an 861 any day over the jube..

agree that the painted lug nuts is like having painted toenails... drives me out of my mind.. NO self respecting tractor would have painted nuts! Just like the pink ferguson up near Blanco, at a peach orchard.. Its a crime.

And the differential/housing is over powered...

It's a very pretty tractor and someone did (or paid for) a lot of
work on it. I'm assuming paid for it if he has $4000 in paint.

It's not exactly original though. Looks like 13.6 tires besides the
colors that where already mentioned and the work light appears
to be mounted directly to the right hand fender.
The red Ford script looks like stickers. It doesn't line up with
the raised lettering stamped into the fenders.
I'm not trying to pick it apart, but if it's being sold as a total
restoration at restoration prices, it should be 100% correct.

I'm refurbing one right now and like this one, mine won't be original.
But I won't have any where near $4000 in it total, even with new
rear tires, radiator, gas tank, wiring, 12V conversion, etc.
All the work and paint done at home.
This tractor caught on fire and burnt.
