My 1989 445C had it's independent PTO operating handle and stop bracket removed by previous owner and was not available at time of sale. ( Unit has 8x8 speed torque convertor transmission) I haven't yet found used parts. New parts are listed at $150+. I can make a handle and stop bracket.
Question: Does the I-PTO shift mechanism have detents to hold it in the ON and OFF positions? Or is it spring loaded to move handle to the ON position, and does the notch in the stop bracket lock handle into the OFF position? I want to be sure that my shop made handle and bracket properly engage the ON and OFF positions.
