Ford 600 fenders

Can someone please tell me if the Ford 600 Fenders are the same as the NAA with the raised Ford script? If not, can you tell me how they differ, or better yet, post a photo of them. Thanks for your help.

They are not the same but they will interchange.

The sheet metal is different and, aside from the 1955 model, the hundred series fender brackets are different than those used on the NAA and N series.

The best way to tell the difference is that though they are all generally the same shape the hundred fenders are much deeper than those before or after. They are probably nearly ten inches deep. They have never been available after market as the others have.

Here are a couple of photos. left is 8n/NAA middle is hundred series, Right (another option for the hundred series fender, the 6000,same fender and you might get lucky and get a set of monkey grips with them. Fenders are not painted right but you get the idea of the differences.
Here's one on ebay with about 20 minutes left.

I think the 600-800 series fenders have just come out aftermarket very recently. Go to eBay and put this into the search box - "PAIR FORD TRACTOR FAT FENDER SCRIPT SKINS 600 800 NEW". The seller is Pete Pfeiffer, and I bought a set of fenders from him and he was good to deal with.

That will get you some "restoration quality" 600/800-series fenders.

There are some non-script aftermarket ones that if you put in "FORD 600 800 TRACTOR REPLACEMENT REAR FENDER SKIN", they will pop up.

Neither is cheap. But the 600/800-series fenders are unique and have not been available previously.

Hope that helps,
Kevin

It will be interesting to see what happens here.

If Pete does not have a licensing agreement with Ford MOtor Co. they will shut him down in a heartbeat.

Kevin, thanks for this information. I guess that I may as well throw away the old rough pair that I have been hanging onto.

Actually, I don't think it's him that's making them, and I am pretty sure the script ones are Ford Licensed.

There are others that are selling them as well.

Glad to see them available.

If Pete has anything to do with these fenders I'd be surprised if the quality was anything but very good.
