What do you do with junk heads/blocks?

WayneIA's post about his cracked head reminded me that I
have a few laying around going to waste. Internally cracked.

Other than taking them to the scrap yard, what do you do with
them? Any productive use other than added weight somewhere?

Always the pack rat.

I seem to remember seeing a photo on this site of someone who bolted a pair of heads vertically to an NAA or hundred
series front bumper for weight. You can also fill a counter weight 3pt drum with scrap iron. I have some cracked heads
and blocks that I was going to make a cut away but have too many other projects that get in the way. Scrap price is low
now anyway so why send it there.

I hear the mob guys really like the junk heads and blocks... but what would I know..... bada bing,, bada boom!

I use mine for weights, handy headbolt holes in all of em.
and sometimes you just have to keep one...just because.
Have a AC head that had a crack in the pushrod galley area..
.....12 inches long.
Previous owner welded it. almost worked...coolant just seeped, didn't pour, into the engine.
When I changed the head I kept the old one as a wheelchock,
conversation piece.
I'm not picking on the PO at all, admire him actually. do what you gotta.
Tractor was actually useable/moveable before I fixed it. just drain out the cup of coolant (use water only) from the oilpan before you started it.
