brakes and seals for 47 early 8n

i recently changed brakes and rear seals on an early ford 8n , one wheel had no rope seal material and one wheel did. the ford manual shows no rope seal matereal but some part catalogs show seal kits comeing with rope seal. this is an 8n that according to its serial number should only have an outer seal no inner seal. do i need to go in and do over?

pixer, I'm not sure what you are referring to as a rope seal.
John Smith has a great tutorial on changing the seals though.

royse: thanks for the lead to the tutorial by smith on replacing brakes and seals, i had seen it before but didnt save it for reference. I only work on tracttor now and again and forgot about the tutorial, agaiin thanks.
