7000 Oil Cooler Line

Oil cooler line that goes into the bottom portion of the radiator is leaking. Which side is the inlet side? As seated on the tractor is the inlet side the left side?

Also....this line is $140 from New Holland. Does anyone know the specifications of the flares on the end of the line?

Left side should be the supply side. I wouldn't get too excited about that part as long as you clean the new line of debris..
Without having looked at that particular line I'd wager that it's just a standard 3/8" steel line and matching flare. No doubt it's a double flare tho.... You may find that if you don't have a good flaring tool and the requisite skill in using it that the 140 bucks for the ready made line is probably cheap. I suspect a good set of flaring tools will cost you that and then some today. My Weatherhead set was close to that 10 years ago or more. Then a coil of tube is 20 bucks or more... If it's a one shot deal, buy the line. If you're going to use the tools more often... get them and make the line.
I'm after making a few now because I was too stubborn to pay the price for a similar line years ago... but I didn't save much on the deal.
Cheap 20 buck china flaring tools DO NOT do double flares on steel line either... As critical as this is sometimes the right line is a saving.
