brushhog PTO Shaft coupler ?

So, I finally was able to remove the old shaft from the mower, but then realized that the "coupler" from the new shaft isn't the same size as the old one?

Question is what's my simplest action to get it fixed?

I suppose taking it back for exchange is out of the question. I'd take it to a drive line shop unless you
feel good about U-joint disassembly and assembly. Either way you'll need the larger bore size part. Good
