641 Restoration - Progress finally

It's been a long time coming, but finally got some paint on the hood of my 641. This was the restoration that started with a simple 12V conversion and a valve adjustment/tuneup in February 2014.

Waiting for this first coat to dry, then block it out and hit with the second coat, and clear.

The red looks great. I always liked the red hood on the 641. The mission creep gotcha, but looks well worth it and you will have a tractor to
be proud of.

Looks like it's going to be really nice. Clearcoat will really make it shine (but make touch-up a little harder), do you plan to take it to
shows? Those are really nice looking tractors and one of the most popular old Fords. Be sure to keep posting progress photos. -Will

The red on red of the 601s was very nice.

I don't have time to hit shows, and need it to work, so it's gonna get used. And yes, mission creep for sure, LOL.
