Depends on where you live and what you do but this time of year 30W is good if not a 40W. Now days I use a 20W-50 in most of my stuff
 
The speck on a new Kubota is 10 w 30, and the older more worn out your clunkers are the heavier oil it requires.
 
unless your short of money.. why not run 15w30 or 15w40.. Both oils give your more protection and and have hd additive packages. Better cold start protection as well. Otherwise buy the cheapest oil availible and hope for the best.

Money not an issue, 15w30 might be a good choice for Mn weather!
 
10W-40 would be better for both summer and winter. Here in Missouri I can get by wit h20W-50 but it does not get as cold down here as it does up there. Or if you way north in MN a 5W-30. I use the O'Reilly's brand 20W-50 because it is made by Valvoline
