2000 offset

I have found one of the offset gas 2000 tractors with the front mount cultivator that runs and drives very well , do these have any value as I prefer tricycle type rowcrop tractors and don't know if I want this one.

not rare, but deffinately uncommon.

Rowcrops are much more common. If you can get it right, the offsets hold value pretty steady, hard to loose money on one unless you pay too much, or bad condition, etc.

For rowcrop collectors, I bet many would swap you a nf in a second for trade for your offset.

I have one and I can't give it away.

All over the board.. Look at auctions, you will see prices all the way from ag models to 9000$ asking.

Tires, condition, location, economy, implements all play a roll.

In general I'd class them a lil more valuable than an equal condition ag model. Depends on the needs of the buyer too, if all the buyers are looking for loader tractors, offsets will be less desirable, etc.

Well I see a lot of people that think the buyer should pay all gas burnt plus original sale price plus a couple sets of tires and the shop , oh I forgot the tractor shed too. Such as a N just plain for 5500 or best offer well I don't want stupid I want salvage prices because I hate to pay more than that for something I don't know if I want.

I don't think you will get an offset for salvage price even non running. They contain parts only used on those models, son used part pool is low.. so no 500$ offsets.. :)

Steve, you could make it a little easier on the eyes if you were to run that exhaust pipe inside.

"you have called my bluff."

No offense meant Steve, I was just being facetious.

I think souNguy is right about the offsets being uncommon.
I would probably trade my 960 trike for a decent offset.
Knowing full well the offset wouldn't do the work of my 960!

(quoted from post at 22:14:57 04/29/15) What should it be worth needing paint but not much else?

huge differences in price on tractors in different parts of the country.
Research and price the NF Fords in your area,
then add about $1k to that for a decent offset.
