12V SOS Wiring for your review

This is my first shot at this since I couldn't find one. Please let me know if I need to make changes. Thanks to Vintage Tractor Resource for a great base drawing. Thanks Rick

Looks good! The only thing I might change is the name you attached to the transmission light. I might call it "transmission pressure light".

Thanks Larry, Will do. After the change I'll repost a higher quality jpeg.

One last quick question. Should both of these relays click when putting a 12v positive & negative charge on the two front terminals of the relays?

Manifold Heater and Fuel Gauge should come off the yellow side of the terminal block, otherwise they will drain on the battery even when the key is off. On the yellow side they only come live when you turn the key on.

I put my lights on the yellow side as well, not much of anything comes off the red side of my terminal block, that way when I turn the key off, everything draining on the battery goes off.

I am assuming with your current diagram when you turn the tractor off at the key, the SOS Pressure light will then come on, because it comes from the Red Side. And stay on until it drains the battery if you don't run the tractor daily.

When I did mine I put my gen light on the yellow side, so that when I turn the key on, it comes on, once the alt starts spinning it goes out, if the tractor dies it comes on, but if I turn the key off it goes out.

Looks like a very good drawing, everyone will tweak them to their situation, I didn't want anything working without my key being turned on.

The way I read the diagram, the yellow side of the terminal block is hot and the red side is only hot when switched. I usually put my lights on the key on switched position.

p.s. - I finally got my Industrial Seat Frame from ebay. Have sand blasted and ready to paint soon. Will install cushions from AI Products.
