Turn the key and I get nothing. I'am thinking it is the solenoid. How should I test it? Or could be the switch. How would I test that also. Thanks for any input. Battery is good!.......

Gas or diesel?
Both types have a small wire going from above down to the solenoid.
Hook one lead from your VOM or test light to ground and the other lead to the small wire.
Watch for voltage as you turn the key to start.
If no voltage there when you turn the key check the same way on your key switch.
A schematic diagram is in the I&T FO-31 manual which shows which wires go where on the back of the switch.
Post back with your results.

Udog, used a test light, and had power. There are 3 wires in a cluster going to the solenoid, one going to the small terminal, one going to the coil[i think] the other heavry wire going to the pos battery side of solenoid.Going to other farm this afternoon will get I&t manual then to look at wire diagram.Think I will get new switch any way,the threads are striped, nut will not tighten up.Always noticed heavy spring in switch......thanks for help...P.S It's a gasser
