ford 620

I'm having a hard time learning about my ford 620. It has no pto or 3 point hitch. I can only find one picture of another one on the Internet. Nothing seems to be known about this model.

What do you need to know? The 620 was the model sold without a PTO and 3-point lift. They were sold to municipalities and golf courses to pull mowers and such. Nothing rare or unusual about them...

If you purchase the broad IT manual it will have all of the information that you need. You can also get a repro owner's manual on line, it is for the 600 series so it covers your 620. A friend has a 620 with torque converter drive instead of four speed. it was built for the USAF as an aircraft tug.

The 620 was just one of the models within the 600 series. The middle digit tells you what options it came with in terms of transmission, PTO and 3 point hydraulics. The 620 came with a 4 speed transmission, and no PTO or hydraulics, but lots of folks had one or the other or both added later, either by the dealer or by doing it themselves. Other than the trans, PTO and hydraulics differences, all of the tractors in the 600 series were essentially the same, with the 134 ci gas engine and all purpose ag chassis with a lighter duty rear axle than the 800 series.

From what I can find they are rare. I can only find one image of another one and it's neither of the ones u posted.

I appreciate you guys helping me. Anyone have any idea how many were made? Should I restore it? It's all there except the fenders.

nothing known? just the opposite actually.

They were a stripepd down economy unit, purpose built for pulling tasks like others mentioned. golf course ganged reel mowers and such.
