ISO Grille Panel, Kirk, Royse, Hobo, UD or any Help

I'm looking for a lower grille panel for my 64' 4000.

Question to those that know, could I take a 600 style grille and cut the top off of it, and fit it into the lower section? My main question here is will the panel part come up high enough to meet where the blue mesh grille comes down, this would be ideal because it would already have the hole made in it for the front pump.

Any help on this is appreciated.

This is the 600 style grille I'm talking about cutting down, the one that uses the full doglegs like my 4000.

I know the x01 uses a shorter dogleg and a wrap around lower panel, so that one won't fit for sure.

All 600/601 800/801 and 4cylinder 4000 and 2000 should have the same dogleg, I do believe. So, yes your idea of a 600 grille should fit. But, it looks better without the lower panel than to cut up a grille, in my opinion.

i think it's close enough.Kinda of hard to hold up the camera to take the photo and hold up the grille with the other
hand, other shots are of my shoe and the ground. You will have to weld or bolt on a couple of tabs to secure under the
blue mesh grille using the same bottom bolts.

Thanks Kirk for the photo, I think I will go that way, just want something to protect the radiator when going through the brush, it is after all still a working tractor.

As Kirk points out, it would take a little fabrication.
I hate to cut them up, but I see your point in doing it.
Any chance of finding a scrap one and using that?
I don't know if I have one around or not, but I can look.
If I did it would probably be off a Jubilee/NAA.

Looks like someone's making repops. I did a Google search on the original part number and a few places seem to carry them. Walt's and Just 8Ns have 'em.

I'm having trouble posting links, it looks like this site's software is freaking out when I try and it gives me some long debug error. Just search Google on the part number, C3NN8190A.
