Cleaning a Radiator

Kind of off Ford topic, but what is the best way to clean the junk out of the fins of a radiator? Just a water hose with a nozzle or air pressure or a combination? I know you can't use a pressure washer or you risk blowing a hole in the core.

If I don't keep my compact 4x4 radiator clean it will heat up under a load. NEVER BUY A COMPACT UNLESS YOU JUST WANT A TOY

I use compressed air to clean chaf from radiator cores.

Works best if you can blow out from the back side.

I'm with Dean, compressed air from the backside while dry.
Wash it out with a hose if needed also, but the air will remove
dry weeds and dust very quickly before you wet it.
