Hello yesterdaytractors folks,

We purchased kit FP417 to do maintenance on an hydraulic cylinder that had a leak. It turns out, some of the gaskets in the kit don't fit the cylinder.

The FP417 is for a pair of cylinders that lift the front loader, and we need the kit for the cylinder that turns the bucket. Does anybody know what kit number we should
get?

Or how can we get the cylinder back working?

All help is much appreciated!

The parts site shows that for the bucket cylinder of a 545C, the kit was originally part number FP418, which has been superseded by part number 83971963.

I tried to look for that part #83971963 on the internet, but could not find it. Any idea where can I get it from?

I don't see that one out on the internet either. Check with your local New Holland dealer, and if they can't help you take the original seals and o-rings to a local hydraulic shop and they should be able to get you parts that match.

The CNH parts site shows the FP418 kit and when I checked the availability it gave me this "85804740 is a replacement part for the obsolete part(s) 83971963"
I did a google search for that 85804740 number and seems like everyone has them. First return was Amazon.
