651 power steering pump components

Hello. I've been in the process of rejuvenating an old 651I recently purchased. I decided to clean up and reseal the power steering pump. In doing so, I realized I'm missing a few parts. Are the filter, filter base, and hold down spring still available? If not, would anyone have some spare parts they'd be willing to part with? I may require a different reservoir, as some one has installed a make shift breather of some sort as well. Thanks for any help you can give.

Just going through this myself.

The filter is available through this site.

The filter base is not available, however. I looked, but could not find it anywhere. I might not have looked hard enough, though. It appears to be a special "tractor-only" part. I had one in mine, but it was swiss-cheese from rust. I ended up sandblasting it, coating with POR-15, then used from POR epoxy putty to remold it.

I'm sure I'd be able to duplicate the piece if I had an example to reference. I also came across a couple bases online for 50's thunderbirds, but the through hole is in the center, unlike the offset examples I've seen that fit this resevoir...... the search continues.

Thanks for the pics. I was wondering why the return nipple was so long inside the resevoir, now I see that it extends through the filter base. Very informative.

Thanks again, Josh
