I guess I was asking for it...

Well when we started the overhaul, I took the easy way out, when draining the radiator I used the drain valve instead of just popping the lower hose over a bucket...

Well you all know what my problem is now...

After getting everything back together I have a slow drip from the drain...

Is there a good way to clean that up and get it to stop, or should I just buy a new valve? They have them on this site for $4.

And of course its full of antifreeze and I can't seem to find any 'clean' buckets....

just stick a pipe plug in there. just about any hardware or farm store will have a plug.. and most will have a petcock.

put some dope on the new one. pull the old one and slap the new one in. might loose an ounce of fluid if you are fast.

leave the cap on and might not loose more than a drip or two
